The year is 1995. Mahir (38) is a refugee from Bosnia who has been living in Pula for several years, in a hotel named after the city. His days are monotonous and empty, and his past is unknown. One warm summer night, Mahir sees Una, a young girl from Pula, on the beach near the hotel for the first time. This unexpected encounter will awaken hope in him until his past catches up.
