PLOT

Aleksi is a 28-year-old who has failed to find a job after graduating from college and is returning home to live under her parents' roof. PLOT

This is a story about survival. The main character Stojanka (62), due to life circumstances has had to return to her native village. Now in her sixties, in the southern Banat she is raising grandchildren, fourteen-year and eight-year Sophia and Stevan, whose parents have gone abroad in hunt for better life. Stojanka has no contact with her daughter who went to USA long time ago. Although born in the village, Stojanka does not fit the typical rural milieu, and her character is in a collision with the surrounding where she lives. The film follows a series of gripping situations while Stojanka is trying to survive as best as she can.

Christopher Hampton is a British screenwriter, film director and playwright. He won Oscar award for his film “Dangerous Liaisons” and earned nomination for the film “Atonement”. During his career he worked with actors such as John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer, Keanu Reeves, Uma Thurman, Benedict Cumberbatch and many others. His plays, musicals and translations have so far garnered four Tony Awards and three Olivier Awards.

Miloš Djukelić is Serbian director, producer and art director. During his work career he directed more than 600 music videos and TV commercials for brands such as Vodafon, T-Mobile, Coca Cola and others. He is founder and CEO of Red Production which has HQ in Belgrade and Zagreb. He is a member of the managing board of the Serbian Film Comission. He produced a film “Bullethead” starring Adrien Brody, John Malkovich and Antonio Banderas.
