BFF: Film School

During intense 4 days of workshops participants will learn about all basics of filmmaking.

Throughout film school participants will be mentored by film director Boris Poljak and learn all about filmmaking (how to find idea for good film, how to write script, how to make a storyboard, how to use camera, how to edit films etc). In addition to main workshop, there will be a masterclass held by Milos Djukelic film producer who recently produced a feature film with Adrien Brody, Antonio Banderas and John Malkovich.

Parallel with the workshop there will be a masterclass on the topic “How to produce your movie?” which will be held by experienced executive producer Niels Mann of RTL Group, who in his career worked as Head of Development, Senior Executive, Senior Producer in companies such as RTL Group, ProSiebenSat Media, AlphaTV etc. Niels is currently in charge of RTL Croatia channel.

General info about workshop

Candidates

This workshop is intended for youth aged 15 and older. Participants do not need to have any film experience. Depending on the number of participants the workshop will be divided in two groups (beginners and advanced).

Accommodation

Candidates will have accommodation in rooms in private apartments. Usually there will be two participant in the room and you will have to share bathroom with other room.

This option includes two meals per day, festival t-shirt and festival accreditation.
