BFF is Coming to Supetar

The countdown is on. In four days, Supetar becomes the centre of regional cinema — the 12th Brač Film Festival opens on August 6, and preparations are in full swing.

The volunteers have arrived on the island. The open-air cinema is being set up, the technical crew is installing the equipment, and the team that makes the festival happen is putting all the pieces into place. Every year, these quiet, working days — full of anticipation — give the festival a special character even before the first frame lights up the screen.

This year's programme brings four evening films: The Pavilion, Honey Bunny, Yugo Florida, and Storm Rider. Alongside the evening screenings, there is a full daytime programme — films for children and young audiences, short student films from across the region, and conversations with the filmmakers coming to Supetar.
